A Solomon Kane story. He is an Elizabethan English adventurer in Africa. He comes across a dead slave and tracks down the Arab slave traders, but in his rage, attacks them and is captured. The usual good descriptions and characterizations that Howard is known for. The plot is a little thin, and relies not so much on the usual courage, grit, and superhuman fighting ability as ancient legends. An good pulp story, just okay for Howard.
