This is a good, even-paced Sci-Fi. Fox is an Apache with a heart for the old ways who becomes a reluctant member of a small but resourceful team missioned to travel back in time to salvage technology and materials from a crashed alien vessel. The story is not the successful trip back 20,000 years nor finding the alien salvage vessel. The story is about finding a smaller, fully operational alien ship with its deceased crew, and the ship's autopilot programmed for the unanticipated.
