The prose of Stapledon is concise, poetic, and beautiful. Although “Star Maker” has been known as a science fiction novel since its publication, if we accept the word of the author, W. Olaf Stapledon, the book is actually an astonishing autobiography. In the Preface, Stapledon explicitly states that “Star Maker” is NOT a novel. Star Maker is the most influencial and remarkable story ever told in this ganre....pass the first barrier which is the initial style and be hooked forever..... there is no God only the Star Maker and the secret of life in this and all universes is love and duty ....community.
