At the Mountains of Madness is a novella by horror writer H. P. Lovecraft, written in February/March 1931 and originally serialized in the February, March and April 1936 issues of Astounding Stories. It has been reproduced in numerous collections since Lovecraft's death. Lovecraft scholar S. T. Joshi describes the novella as representing the decisive "demythology" of the Cthulhu Mythos by reinterpreting Lovecraft's earlier supernatural stories in a science fiction paradigm.

New professionally narrated, directed and edited audio book is available by the producers of the upcoming feature film version of At The Mountains Of Madness... You may know that Del Toro and Cameron are off that film project - this week its been announced that film makers Shadow Mihai and Carrie Cain Sparks are on it as producer/directors, through their company Stella James Studios. As a preview to the film, last week they released an audio book version of Lovecraft's classic work on sjlume.com. I enjoyed it and I recommend it to everyone.

I really enjoyed this book. It's sort of slow-paced, but horribly creepy.
