OMG - I'm so excited. "The Moonstone" was one of my absolute favorite novels when I was in high school and I didn't know then that there were all these others by Collins. Looking forward to several evenings of sheer pleasure - thank you Feedbooks!
The descriptions says this is "considered to be the first mystery novel". ?Written in 1859? Well, I was surprised. It was enthralling. I couldn't put it down. It also was interesting to see the viewpoints of the people of that time.
This is one of the best books I have read. It is a mystery and sort of detective story, with many twists in the plot. Eventually the ending is satisfactory. A must read!

Just finished it -- read all night to read the last 25%. Excellent novel.
