In interesting read. I found it interesting how Reginald Clark sapped the creative energies from his victims. While this tale is an unusual Vampire story, it does portend the many "Emotional Vampires" I have come across today!

Pretentious, off-putting, and utterly dull! There isn't a single character to like, the prose is full of self-importance, and nothing much actually happens. No fulfillment, no climax, no resolution, and absolutely zero reason to waste one's time with this offal. No wonder it's faded into obscurity! Even as a story which supposedly involves vampires, it's not even worthy of reading because of that.

This book is fantastic. Wish I could find more about this character and author.

The vampire is actually bisexual. Had to read this book in one sitting, it was captivating.

Inside this book is some marvelous poetry, also.
