A quick read. The story starts off like most detective stories of the time by having the main character ask lots and lots of questions. But the author eventually deviates from this pattern.
This is definitely rated G and touches on aspects of New York society during WWI.

A very nice read. "Classic" espionage novel, no high-tech stuff, but fellows with "hats and raincoats". Very entertaining!
