A very good story of a small scientific expedition on the East Coast of the U.S. that is being stalked by an unseen alien. Besides being able to kill, the thing seems to cause hallucinations.
Surprising for 1926. In some ways it is much more sophisticated than some of the stories from the 1950s.
Highly recommended.
