In Tarzan and the Jewels of Opar, the jungle lord must face evil hunters, beast men, and jungle animals, all the while suffering from a case of amnesia. This is only a fair Tarzan novel, not one of the best, but features the return of the compelling La, Queen of Opar, who first appeared in the Return of Tarzan. This alone warrents reading this book.
