Most smartphones/PDA can be used as e-book readers too, and Feedbooks fully support these devices:
- Blackberry, PalmOS, Symbian or Windows Mobile based: We recommend Mobipocket Reader and the Mobipocket format for these devices.
- Linux based: We recommend using FBReader and the ePub format for these devices.
Mobile website
A mobile website is available at:
http://feedbooks.mobi
It's basically the easiest way to download directly files on your mobile device, and most of the features of the main website are available on the mobile edition.

ePub or Mobipocket ?
Feedbooks currently support two reflowable formats: ePub and Mobipocket.
While Mobipocket is based on an old standard, OEB (
1999),
the ePub file format is the new standard for e-books (
2007).
ePub supports much more advanced features, such as stylesheets, embedded fonts, a real table of contents
etc...
Unfortunately, ePub support is not yet available on most handhelds.
FBReader provide basic support for ePub (no stylesheets or table of contents yet), and for those of you using this software, we recommend using ePub.
