Holy Cow is one of the most half-baked, phoned-in books I've ever read, and it's hard to look at it as anything but a vanity project.
An offbeat adventure that reads something like Bill Willingham’s Fables directed by Ralph Bakshi.
Holy Cow is very much a ‘your mileage may vary’-book, as I think you either enjoy it or you don’t depending on whether you connect to the humour in the book.
