Faced with an entitlement crisis, they actually rang up additional trillion dollar deficits. We now face the entitlement crisis and a budget crisis, and the Liberals have no answer for them beyond tax and spend. They still have support in the media, but even here they are faced with opposition from Fox News, talk radio, and the Internet.

Since its larval days in the 1950s, Conservatism has been on the rise, and its adherents have become far more numerous than those of Liberalism. Why? The vast majority of Americans favor free enterprise and personal liberty.
