Editorial reviews (3 reviews)

Amped is a powerful novel, at times its quite sobering and it really draws you in right from the start, with some genuinely dramatic and emotive scenes, a thoughtful thriller that manages to hit all the right notes.

Amped wants to be a hero’s saga or a piece of trenchant political science fiction about how we mistreat those who are different. But at its most entertaining, it’s a tale of regular people realizing they have superpowers, thanks to the doohickeys in their heads.

Kirkus Reviews : Amped (May 16, 2012)

Provocative, with strong action sequences, but weak in character development and plotting.
