A fine writer and a fine book to join so many other of his works, all of equal quality.

Furst aficionados will doubtless lap up the novel, but this reader prefers fiction - even when its primary function is entertainment - grounded in unimpeachable authenticity through and through.

Summer isn’t complete without a really good espionage novel for the beach, and this summer’s best is Mission to Paris.
