Antifragile: Things That Gain from Disorder

The book he’s written is nothing if not one big, hyperextended, overarching theory about how to live in a random and uncertain world.

This is a bold, entertaining, clever book, richly crammed with insights, stories, fine phrases and intriguing asides.

Although it is relatively easy for our bodies to experience small amounts of stress and pain in order to become stronger (by going to the gym, for example) we cannot deliver similar training for the economy as a whole.

The problem with Antifragile is that it is a deeply antisocial book. I am pretty sure people will still be reading Taleb's two previous books in 10 years' time. But I'd be surprised if they are still reading this one.
