Editorial reviews (3 reviews)

What a charming premise for a retelling. Lewis Carroll got it all wrong. Alice didn’t have adventures in Wonderland after following a white rabbit in a waistcoat. Alyss has in fact grown up to become the Queen of Wonderland.

Everybody thinks they know the story of Alice Liddell Hargreaves, but they only experienced Lewis Carroll’s (or Walt Disney’s) interpretation of the events Alice relayed. Few have had the chance to see the true version of what happened on the other side of the rabbit hole.

The premise of this book is both intriguing and audacious, with a hint of healthy disrespect. Alice In Wonderland by Lewis Carroll was, it seems, a lie.
