An enchanting story of twins, fame, and heartache by the much-praised author of Lullabies for Little Criminals

Editorial reviews (4 reviews)

Heather O’Neill slowly peels away the layers of her characters to expose their most intimate thoughts in a very calculated way.

It is a lively novel, as we see the seamy side of life in Montreal but it is witty and great fun, even if the characters are seriously flawed human beings.

As an imagist O’Neill excels at inventing a place where magic really happens, where the mundane can become extraordinary through her protagonist’s kaleidoscopic vie en rose.
