The Girl on the Train

The thriller scene will have to up its game if it’s to match Hawkins this year.

“Ingenious” twists usually violate psychological plausibility, as in Gone Girl. Hawkins’s Girl is a less flashy, but altogether more solid creation.

To get inside the heads of these people was a real treat and I will definitely be reading more from this lady!

With The Girl on the Train we can all indulge in a bit of voyeurism with Rachel, and then put her away when we get to our station.
