Sandra Madera currently resides in New York and is a recent college grad, obtaining her bachelor's degree in science. However, her true passion has always been reading and writing. She has been writing short stories since she was a child. She recently published her first full-length YA novel entitled Restraint and, its sequel, Lament. At the time I downloaded this, I didn't know it was a two chapter book preview. I thought it was a short story because of its length and I was a bit disappointed because the teaser was interesting. Yet, I found myself enticed by the plot which moved quickly and, although I like it more when an author paces the scenes between the main character and her love interest to build tension, I found the preview enticing nonetheless. Made me want to buy the book!
