Oh, and you don't need to defend why your book isn't free. You worked hard on it and you can sell it if you want to. I'm not objecting to that at all. I don't think anyone should have to defend why they expect to be paid for their work.

It's not win win for anyone if visitors download and begin reading books just to find out half way through that it's not a complete book. People will get sick of that and go elsewhere for books.
To avoid that from happening, if you're going to offer partial books, I think it needs to be made very clear which are free books and which are just partial books. BEFORE the person downloads the book. If there are different sections of the website, that should be clear and obvious. This page right… (more)
There's no easy way to tell this page from a page in the discover section. I never knew you kept them separate. Maybe you could make the each section different colors, or post clearly and obviously on each page what section it's in. Otherwise, it's all the same.

This is nothing against your book or you. I think your book sounds interesting and I hope you make a million off it. I just don't think any books that aren't free and aren't complete belong on a free book distribution site.
If this site isn't going to remain a free ebooks site, then I am disappointed and feel mislead.
I think sites offering books should offer books, not parts of books. Now I have to worry about each download from this site, whether I'll be able to finish reading the book, or if it's just a commercial to buy the book. I don't like this turn of events on this site.
I don't know anything about Soviet totalitarianism, but this book certainly says something about human nature. It was short and fast paced and easy to read.
