This book is rather enjoyable. Part Romance, part swashbuckling tale and part fantasy this book provides an enjoyable reading experience.
This book is a fair bit of fun. It reads a fair bit like a Heinlein novel. The main character is smart, young and mostly an observer. The world Piper created is livable (barely) and is at times as much of a challenge to the characters as the human antagonists. Make sure you pay attention though; lots of details come together at the end, so you better remember them.
