Boy, just looked into the multitude of H. G. Wells' books; I had no idea that he wrote so many Fictional Short Stories!!!
These are the stories by H. G. Wells that have been made into films, as far as I know:
The War of the Worlds
20,000 Leagues Under The Sea
The Invisible Man
The Time Machine
The Island of Dr. Moreau
The Underground City
