This thriller is adrenaline charged and takes off especially after the first few chapters.

How would an ordinary-joe, one who has never travelled beyond his hometown go up against human-traffickers who had snatched his teenage daughter? Review on Beck and Call by Eric Alagan.
So I thought, a business thriller – not many in the market. Set in Singapore – not New York or London? Okay, I’ll see what this is all about then.

What a fabulous read!

The main storyline is about business rivalry between Edwin, the protagonist, and Roy. There are also subplots: Roy framing Edwin’s protégé Srikanth, on a sodomy and rape charge; the uneasy and even funny relationship between Edwin’s two partners – Gerard the private eye and Christine… (more)
