Very nice piece. Enjoyed it greatly. Even when I realized where it was going, I still enjoyed the writing and it kept me engaged. Then I realized I didn't know where it was going!

Very quick reads but that doesn't mean they aren't great. Mr. Maxwell has realized if you know what story you're telling, you don't have to be superfluous. I will be re-reading this, I already know.

I was trying to write the sequel, but the prequel, "The Carnival" demanded being paid attention to first. I seriously could not write the other until I finished it. I've gone back to writing the other book now.

Thanks so much for this book. Not only did it entertain and make me laugh out loud, it reminded me there's a world going on around me and people are experiencing the same problems I am. Let me remember I'm not alone in this universe.
