EPUB cannot be read in any Sony device!!!

The problem lies in the fact that several of the XML files packed in the EPUB file are bigger than 250KB, which is the upper limit for Sony devices. The only possible way to solve this problem is to unzip the EPUB file, split the excessively big files ("main6.xml" and "main8.xml") into several smaller files, change the fb.opf file accordingly (including the newly created files), and then re-build the EPUB file with the new stuff.
