SirMewt, thank you very much for taking the time to leave such an excellent comment. I was really hoping/needing to hear something positive, and you have my appreciation. I'm glad you enjoyed reading NEW FRONTIERS, and I am already thinking through some scenarios for NEW FRONTIERS 2.0!

Sorry you feel that way, though I appreciate you posting your opinion and taking the time to read my story.
I wrote the ending that way for a couple of reasons. First, it lets the reader imagine what happens afterward. Second, it gives me the opening to continue with it if I should later choose to. As for the store names, there were only the two you mentioned, and I only did that so I wouldn't be using the actual names of the places... and I thought Sol-Bucks was kind of clever...
