3 out of 5 stars. I liked how the main female character interacted with the other characters, but the plot and the storytelling is just average.

3 out 5 stars. Worth downloading and reading, but not great. The plot is simplistic with painful contrivances (there just happened to be a dangerous snake on the log at that exact moment?), and the 'romance dialog' can get cheesy, but the narrator is interesting nonetheless. It's also an interesting study on women's fantasies--super hunky unique guy focuses his whole world on an average woman despite her baggage/hangups.

If this site had a rating system I would give the story 4 out of 5 stars. Excellent story, I really enjoyed it. The first 2/3 was great, and then it stumbled a bit (from Star Trek experience onward).

One of the most questionable parts was the super cheap price of the companion bot ($3,000?). She is the equivalent of a Ferrari, with a scooter pricetag. I highly recommend this story to others, and I will be trying the author's other stories.
