A bit tedious to read, and the story is often confusing. I found it a bit of a chore to get through this. Maybe it reads better in French.
Classic space opera, but a good tale of adaptation to a harsh environment producing a race of "supermen". Enjoyable read, if a bit dated in its technolgoy.
