There are far too many gender errors to make this story readable. Some of the sentences are gibberish. Proofreading it might have helped. I don't understand the purpose of reprinting the story with the sexes switched. The original story is fine, if this story was done correctly, what would be the point?

While I was intrigued to read this book, it looks like the "author" did nothing more than a search/replace for gender words and replace them with their complement. This ended up being unsuccessful in several spots (i.e. replacing "his" with "her" in a place where "hers" would have been correct or "under her
breath the fellow mumbled ceaselessly as if in invocation"). Thus, I think this is an interesting idea, though poorly executed.
