I enjoyed Dance of the Gypsy a lot more than Mother Knows Best. For me, Mother Knows Best was written more like a Psycho rip-off than anything else. Still good, but not very creative. Dance of the Gypsy, although shorter, held my attention and kept me guessing until the very end.

Thank you for the first nightmares I have had in years! My one complaint is that the books were just too short! I have solace in the knowledge that there are yet more to read.
