Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work in the bakery at your local supermarket?
Bakery Blues is a true telling of my year as a bakery clerk for The Safeway Corporation.
I went into the bakery excited about baking, and left with a deeper understanding of the human condition, what it means to be part of a team, and what to do when the team you are on isn't playing by the rules.
There's also a very nice poem in the middle that I hope you enjoy.
