The book reflects the author's experience dealing with loss. The feeling of not-being-understood is foremost in the patient's mind. In many cases, it is the support from family and a consistent medicine routine that helps bring things back to steady state.

This is a great read. I have bipolar disorder and found this very interesting and enlightening. I loved the funny stories too. Recommend to all.
