This is a reworking, not a complete re-writing, of the original ‘THE LAND IRONCLADS’ short story by H. G. Wells.
I have altered the fight between the ‘Townsmen’ and the ‘Countrymen’ of the original to show a more modern-day ‘Traditional Army’ verses ‘Science’ parallel to the conflict. But have kept the original writing style, as such much of the original text and period grammar style has been retained.
