A third-generation Arizonan, Susan Wells Bennett was born in Phoenix in 1971. Her grandfather's family arrived in the state from Missouri in 1912, just after Arizona achieved statehood. Thanks to his stories and those of her other family members, she knows how Arizona used to be and how it is today.
Susan, who spent many years working as an editor and writer in the business community, began writing novels in 2009. She lives in Youngtown, Arizona, with her husband and their two dogs.
