Cameron is living the highlife in New York City, when his father dies of cancer, changing his life forever. Mary, his beloved mother decides that leaving the big city for the simple life would be better for the two at the time, and so, they return to her hometown. Cameron must learn to live without his friends, his private school, and the lifestyle he is accustomed to. Although he finds it hard to understand his mother’s reasons, he tries to except his new life. Still, he learns quickly, that life is filled with many twist and turns, and not all have happy endings.
