STEFANO BOSCUTTI is an independent writer and director.

He loves stories about outrageously ambitious individuals getting themselves into a heap of trouble. Boscutti's stories are usually laced with humor and a slap of irony. He likes to write (and read) fast. Real fast. He once won a junior high school swimming race. But that's about the extent of his sporting prowess.

Question? Hey, you can ask him anything.

What a hoot. Who would have thought that a modern, Mafia, version of the Marriage of Figaro could be so funny. The original players are all in this version but this is not your grandmother's Marriage of Figaro screenplay, be prepared to have your sensibilities shaken up a bit while you follow the hilarious antics of this scheming household. Quite funny!

Witty, clever and just downright funny. The writing is superb and the premise is interesting. I think I like this version of the Merchant of Venice so much more interesting than the original. It just seems as though these Mafia types are more colorful and have a lot more opinions. No stuffiness here just bawdy fun. Kudos to Stefano Boscutti for coming up with the interesting and whimsical screen play.
