Mike Cooley grew up in Washington State, reading every science fiction and fantasy book he could get his hands on. Influenced by many writers, including Phillip K. Dick, James Tiptree Jr., Roger Zelazny, Theodore Sturgeon and Harlan Ellison, he likes to write very vivid and visual stories with an emphasis on character and action. He has been writing for many years in a variety of genres and loves crafting stories, creating monsters, and getting inside the heads of his readers to see what makes them feel.
