ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Fascinated by the fairy tales told by her father, RoseMary Sherwin McDaniel (a.k.a. Amy Hayle, pen name) felt an instinctive tie to her Irish heritage. From the age of five, she penned her own stories, but her serious adult writing efforts were concentrated in Indiana and Michigan historical writing that led to a area newspaper column, "Climbing Your Family Tree."
Sharing a September 15 birthday with mystery author Agatha Christie, she yearned to be published. Some years ago, after joining a writer's group, she achieved her goal of getting a romance story published in a national magazine, which led to a series of unpublished short stories, due to her lack of time to devote to submitting them for publication.
Not until recently when she was one of the first members of a new writer's group in the small northern Indiana town near "the Fruithills," did she dust off those stories and ideas.
Thanks to the ease of self-publishing on feedbooks.com Original Books, she has published 29 books, including the first 19 of the Fruithills Suspense Series." Watch for more in this series featuring places that have never lost their tie to a spirit-filled past.
