This is an excellent - if rather quirky - comic novel. I particularly liked the deadpan humour but the author also manages to make his central character, Gordy, sufficiently likeable (despite his many, many faults) that you care what happens to him – which is not always a given in fiction of this type. But don't just take my word for it - this book has garnered a clutch of positive reviews over at Smashwords. See: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/3697
