Although I was expecting more SciFi than survival / nature, I really enjoyed reading this book and could not put it down until the end. As iAmSimeon says, very "Lord of the Flies"-like. Funnily enough, it took me until the end of the last chapter to realise that it is more romance than SciFi. Then I thought that with no Internet, people would have to find other ways to fill their days...

Great story, very well developed characters, very "Lord of the flies" esque but not so much as to be un-original. All in all a great read especially if you enjoy post apocalyptic scenario's.
