I read this book over Christmas and forgot to leave a post. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the characters of Vic & Cole. Would love to see more of similar genre form this author in future! It was a great read with a twist I didn't see coming!
Exellent story!
Hey Jan!!!
I liked your story alot...
If there is any sequal coming of black silk? If yes then kindly make some additional characters as well in this story...
um keepin my fingers cross!!!
@mildredhubble. I'm in the process of writing a series of short stories from the life of Cole's father. I'm posting them at FictionPress.com at the moment, but as soon as I've finished the planned series I'm hoping to publish them in an anthology.
finished this book in about 4 hours, it was great! I couldn't put it down! I would absolutely read more paranormal stories from you in a heart beat! Keep up the writing!
This was the first ebook I've read since I got an iPAQ, and I loved it. I've never read paranormal romance texts such as this, but I liked how Victoria's narrative hooked me in. :)
I really love reading this book. I love the paranormal/shifter romance; I love the tender feelings that come out; I love the romantic/sensual relationship; the story line and the sex scene. I was looking for something in the same paranormal-romance genre and i couldn't find anything more from you. Please keep writing these type of novels. I'm a big fan of this book and check every day to see if you post anything new.
Jan, I believe this title has been pirated from you, and is being sold on Lulu.com at this link: http://www.lulu.com/product/ebook/black-silk-by-jan-gordon/14922203?productTrackingContext=product_view/more_by_author/right/1
Two of my own books have been stolen this way, and your name comes up with the same fake cover and title as mine. I have reported the thefts of my work on the links I found. You should check yours there.
@Jan_Smith, the internet challenge was on a private group and was a writing challenge with no winners. It was more a challenge to our muses...to get us to write.
I am writing some short stories based in the Black Silk universe, about Cole's parents. You can find them on FictionPress.com under the title "Life in the Shadows" http://www.fictionpress.com/s/2895642/1/Life_in_the_Shadows. So far there are only two shorts, each is labelled as a separate chapter. There will be more.
Loved it! Read and enjoyed it, read a couple other books, then went back to Black Silk to enjoy it again and know that won't be the last time. DEFINITELY hope there will be more, either about Vic & Cole, or other related. Now how do I find the results of the internet challenge that created the characters, for which you later wrote Black Silk?
Oh Jan Gordon. I did enjoy reading this book. I do hope you publish more because just like S.C. Stephens and Nicky Charles, I'm engrossed. Books are my life and you authors are what make it worthwhile. xxxxx

If you see this for sale at Amazon please do NOT buy it. It's a pirated copy. I've contacted Amazon and hopefully they will sort the matter out.
This is the second time (that I know of) someone has pirated my work and tried to earn money from my writing without my permission.
I'd like to say an enormous THANK YOU to everyone who has downloaded Black Silk from here and especially to those who have left such kind comments.
Regards,
Jan Gordon
