Maps in Bibles, 1500-1600 : an Illustrated Catalogue

A study of maps found in many 16th century Bibles. These maps represent Paradise, the land of Canaan, the Exodus, Jerusalem and the mediterranean with St. Paul's travels. The author traces the uses and reuses of the same maps in the different Bibles and their transformations.
