Being transported into a fairy wonderland was easy for a little girl growing up on a large family farm in Rhode Island, surrounded by the beauty of nature and its many animal residents. Ann Marie could always be found reading her fairytales in her favorite spot on the property, the big red barn. Along with the farm tractor and lots of bales of hay, there were always many friendly cats slipping in and out of the barn all day. Often, she would fall asleep there, cuddling with the cats and dreaming of castles far away.
